Who am I?
Hi. I´m Niina and I´m the host of the Little Women podcast. I first read part 1 of Little Women as a child and then part 2 and the sequels as a teenager and just fell in love with the world of Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. I work as a historian and an illustrator. Books and reading have always been a big part of my life. Some of the main interests that I have in regards to LMA research is Louisa May Alcott´s connections to Germany and the “pop culture” views of the Little Women characters in relation to the novel itself. I have also been doing non-stop research about the real-life Laurie´s and Friedrich´s since 2018 (and feel like I never get enough of it). I hope you enjoy these articles and episodes as much as I enjoy making them.
